Rose was cared for by the wonderful team at St Luke's for the final five weeks of her life, and before this by the community-based team. The care she received was exceptional. Rose's family would like to thank St Luke's by inviting donations to St Luke's in her memory, so they may continue their vital work in Sheffield.

Rose was an active member of Table tennis at the Beighton over 50s group. Laughter while competing with each other was all part of the course.She was a lovely caring friend and always had a smile and thoughtful words for everyone. It was a pleasure to have her at the group and whilst only very few original members remain we remember her with fondness. So sorry she suffered far too long through her operations and treatment for her cancers. So unfair. Bless you Rose you will be missed by us, but you will be remembered with fondness too. Love Eileen. Xx

I cannot attend in person to celebrate Rose's life, but this donation will hopefully help to continue the care that St Luke's gives to the terminally ill. I became a friend of Rose's about 10 years ago, and will remember her for her friendship, kindness, humour and her trust and belief in her Christian faith, which was shown throughout her daily life. She suffered and endured so much, and is now at peace with her maker. Rest in Peace, Rose.
