Markson (Max) Omare
1932 - 2025 | Sheffield
Having arrived from Nigeria in the mid 50’s Markson Arikuoma Omare, fondly known Max, became a trendsetter within the Sheffield Nightclub scene, owning and managing such venues as Shades, Genevieve, Maximillions, Max’s Downtown, Max’s Uptown Bar, amongst other such venues. He was a father, husband, uncle, grandad, great grandad and a great person. He will be sorely missed by not just family members and close friends, but by everyone who encountered his charismatic, friendly and joyous demeanour. Rest in eternal peace, from all who knew you.
