Lee Weaver
1967 - 2026 | Sheffield
Lee Weaver was truly one in a million—a devoted husband, a proud father, and a selfless friend whose warmth left an undeniable mark on everyone fortunate enough to know him. After a courageous battle with throat cancer, Lee passed away surrounded by those who loved him most, leaving behind a legacy defined by love, laughter, and an unwavering commitment to the people and passions closest to his heart.
Family was the centerpiece of Lee’s life. He shared a deeply loving partnership with his wife, building a home anchored in support and joy. Together, they raised two wonderful boys whom Lee adored beyond measure. Being their dad was his ultimate pride: he cheered loudest at their milestones, guided them with gentle wisdom, and made sure they always knew how deeply they were loved.
When it came to his passions, Lee threw himself into them with genuine enthusiasm:
Devoted Sports Fan: A passionate follower of Sheffield Wednesday and a proud supporter of the Sheffield Steelers, Lee loved the buzz of game day and the camaraderie of cheering on his local teams.
Classic Car Enthusiast: Lee had a genuine appreciation for timeless design and craftsmanship, finding great joy in classic automobiles and the stories behind them.
A Helping Hand: True to his nature, Lee was always the first to step forward whenever someone needed support, never asking for anything in return.
Lee brought light into every room with his easygoing humor and quick wit. Above all, he had a rare gift for making people feel safe and valued—a quality summed up perfectly by his famous hugs, which brought comfort and celebration to every occasion regardless of the circumstances.
Though his absence leaves a profound void, Lee Weaver’s memory lives on through his wife, his beloved sons, and the endless lives he brightened simply by being himself.
