St Luke’s Hospice has always held a very special place in our family’s hearts. Our cousin, Nicola both of our grandmothers Mavis, and Shirley and our uncle Ian were all cared for by St Luke’s. Although Dad never needed their care, we always took comfort in knowing that they were there if he ever did. Mum also gave her time volunteering in the St Luke’s charity shop, something that meant a great deal to her.
Mum was the most beautiful person, inside and out. She was adored by her family and friends and was one of the kindest, most selfless people you could ever wish to meet. She had a wonderful sense of humour, a heart of gold and a way of making everyone around her feel special.
St Luke’s is a charity that means so much to Mum and to all of our family. If you are able to, please consider making a donation in her memory to help them continue the incredible work they do for other families.
Mum, we miss you more than words can ever say. You will always be loved, always be missed and never, ever forgotten.
