My Dad was always larger than life, he worked hard and he played hard and everyone that ever met him will remember him fondly.
He lived his life with as much energy and enthusiasm as he could muster right up until he died.
He was very much loved by us all, we are all a bit adrift without him but the memories of him will steer us 'right' eventually

Thank you John for nearly a life time of happy memories - the children virtually grew up together and we spent all of our holidays with you and your family. Dear Big Bro - you have left a big hole and I shall miss you for all time. My table tennis, squash and golfing nemesis, I shall miss our heated discussions/rants on just about everything, and latterly a shared love of guitar gods - plus so many other memories faded but not forgotten in the passage of time. I trust you will be booking the best tee times when I join you in the next life - but don't expect me to go easy on you and absolutely no mulligans! RIP JB

Whatever it said on John's death certificate he actually died from terminal hypochondria! I will miss our regular telephone discussions about our families and on the ills of the world, which invariably ended with a request for IT support. John has been around for all my 78 years and now there is a void, but many (mostly) happy memories ... sleep well Bro!
