1932 - 2025 | Sheffield
Our mum Jean passed away on 2 August 2025 due to frailty of age and Alzheimer's. Before the dementia took her away she was a beautiful, fun loving, caring mum, nannan, sister and friend. Our father Donald passed away more than 30 years before her from cancer, and we still remember the care we all received from St Luke's and because of that, and it being a Sheffield charity, the family wished that funeral donations were to St Luke's for all the fabulous work they do.

Thoughts and Donations
How wonderful Ragan. I did not know this (and do not know if you will see this). Mavis was part of my life growing up, and eventually your Nan Iris became part of it too. Mum had wonderful times, and a few holidays with the girls, and once the dementia started to have an impact they continued to involve mum as much as they could, and looked after her on any of their outings. I will share your thought with my family, and I will make a trip to Crystal Peaks. Helen (Jean's daughter)

Hi, no donation, but I am just hear to say that Jean was best friends with my Nannan Iris, and also Mavis. I have thought about Jean for years since my nan passed away in 2020, and Mavis passing the year before. What a good life she had. She was a lovely lady and always brought joy to me when she was with my nan. I'm not sure if you knew, but in Crystal Peaks market, outside Carter's cafe, there is a small plaque on the wall, above the table where all 3 of them used to sit on a Friday. I had it made in rememberance of their Friday outings. Maybe one day you will see it Take care, rest in peace Jean x Ragan x
