Amanda was a loving mother, wife, daughter, sister, mum in law, devoted granny & friend. Amanda will be remembered for her huge personality & sharp wit.
The treatment & care Amanda received from all the staff at St. Lukes was truly amazing. Not limited to the medical staff Amanda made some great friendships over a short period of time with a number of staff who showed her true care & compassion at the most difficult time.
Amanda's funeral will take place on the 2nd February 2023. Instead of Flowers (Which will be provided by family) we would like to suggest a donation to St Lukes Hospice to support them to continue with the amazing care they can offer the people of Sheffield & surrounding areas.
From all the family we would like to thank in advance anyone who is able to make a donation no matter how big or small.

A beautiful, kind, feisty, funny friend, with a wicked sense of humour, on a more serious note this beautiful, special woman supported me through the darkest time of my life , text messages, phone calls, nights out, hugs …. I feel honoured that we were able to spend time with her at the end and see the love she had for her family and they had for her, the exemplary care she received from nurses and staff. I actually smiled going through photos remembering us running around an abandoned warehouse, with laser guns chasing Zombies , we were so serious and determined to win we would have good stand ins for the Walking Dead xx

Amanda and her family hosted me during my internship at the University of Sheffield in May 2010. This was a formative experience for me both personally and professionally. Amanda was such a loving, kind, and warm person. I will always remember her delicious dinners, great sense of humor, and hospitality. I hope to exemplify her loving spirit in my work as a psychologist, as a mother, and as a friend. She brought so much light to this world and will be missed always!
