Trevor lost his fight following a short illness with pancreatic cancer and spent his last few days in St Luke's. The care he received from every single member of staff was amazing, with the time and compassion given to him being second to none. He was a remarkable man, a loving husband, devoted father, a wise "poppa" and a friend to all. In his later years he did a lot of charitable work and was well respected in the organisation. He was a true inspiration and will be sadly missed. He will be forever in our hearts and although he has gone our memories will never fade.

Trevor was an inspiration: the most selfless of men always helping others without any desire for personal recognition. A lovely friend for decades; we are all richer for having known him and will miss him deeply.
