In loving memory of the most wonderful daughter, mum, grandma and friend, who passed away peacefully, after spending her last few weeks being looked after so incredibly well by all the staff at St. Luke’s.

As the strong, caring and courageous matriarch of the family, Sue will be missed so much by her dad, Stan, daughters Holly, Lucy and Grace, ex-husband Pete, and grandchildren Maisie, Blake, Max and Lexi, as well as her sons-in-law, and her many friends.

Having spent her childhood in Singapore, Germany, Wales and York, Sue came to Sheffield for university and never left. She loved the city that she chose to make her home, and cared deeply about its residents, working for the Youth Service in the most deprived areas for over thirty years, before taking early retirement to enjoy more time with her grandchildren.

Whilst we are devastated to have lost our wonderful mum so soon in life, we take comfort from the fact she spent her last days in the place she wanted to, surrounded by her family and the amazing staff of St. Luke’s.
