We first got to know Sheila when our children started play school. Along with David she became a firm friend for over 50 years, through all the activities we were involved in. In particular, we have special memories of the walking weekend in Germany in 2006 that we had with Dorothy and Les Firth to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversaries. We will miss her so much. Sheila was a lovely, kind and witty person. I will remember Christmas's with her and David and also on her own - my mum and her became very close after David passed and our Dad - comfort for one another. She will be very sadly missed. Goodbye to a kind and generous Sister in Law. There are so many memories of good times with David and Sheila and latterly with Sheila after we lost David. I miss David ‘s laughter and the loss of Sheila so soon afterwards is tough but the memories remain.Can I add to the praise of St.Luke’s and their staff.On my short visits to see the Love and Care provided is uplifting in difficult circumstances. I am sure we will all give generously . Finally a word for Mark and Chris who have been brilliant. God Bless Sheila.Rest in Peace.
