Norm was diagnosed with oesophageal cancer in June 2021, he was a warrior throughout it all. From chemotherapy to surgery, to radiotherapy, he never let the smile on his face ever fade. When asked how he was feeling, he would always say "I'm fine, I don't feel too bad" (even though he did!!) He sadly passed away on the 7th of September 2022 in St Luke's Hospice. In the final weeks, St Luke's Community Nurses/Hospice went above and beyond to make sure Norm, myself and our whole family were supported in the hardest of times. Every member of our family will be forever grateful to the St Lukes's Nurses for the care that not only Norm received, but that we all received, all the way up till the end.
