Our wonderful Dad was cared for so lovingly by all the amazing staff at St Lukes. Their dedication and care was brilliant, making Dad's final days so comfortable. During Dads stay in St Lukes it was also made possible for our Mum (Sylvia) to spend every minute of every day with him, which as a family we are all so grateful for. Mum and Dad had a wonderful marriage which spanned 51 years and never spent a single day apart. Dad was a hard working Yorkshire man with a heart a big as an ocean, he enjoyed his beloved Blades, fishing and horse racing in equal measure. We all miss him massively and hope this tribute page goes some way to saying thankyou to the lovely staff at St Lukes.

Ernest visited our dad, Ken in St.Lukes last year and we remember Ernest himself feeling great after having his physio that day, so learning his sad news of not being here anymore is so heartbreaking. Sending all our love and kind thoughts to his family and keep strong.xxxx
