Diana Armitage was loved by so many, and she gave love so effortlessly and abundantly. Known as ‘Granny’ to far more than her own grandchildren, she was a pillar of the community in Sheffield. We’ve set up this fund because St Lukes cared for her (and us as a family) so beautifully over the 5 final days of her amazing life, and supported her at home following her terminal diagnosis. Granny referred to the hospice as Paradise, and couldn’t get over the fact that it’s a completely free service.
Any and all donations are much appreciated to ensure that St Lukes can continue to support other families who are going through such a difficult process.
Please also feel free to share any photos of Diana you have, or share a thought or happy memory with us.

I will miss bumping into Diana on Bole Hill whilst we walked our dogs. She was a warm, wonderful lady and my day was always made better for seeing her.
Miss you today and always. I’ve gone back to tapas!! It will always remind me of you. You were so proud that I worked there and always had time to hear my funny, sad, happy, crazy stories from people I’d met through our days shared. I do miss you granny. Going to donate my tips to St Lukes for Christmas this year granny. You loved it there. And I love you. Always.

Diana was there for me when my own Man was unable to be. She opened her home to me so that I could spend time with my sister when she was home from nurse training. She loved my sister so much, so full of kindness. She's the kind of mother in law I hope to be one day and of course Granny.
