Ann was the strongest woman to have ever lived, she was hardworking, generous and loved life. She was an amazing Mum, a devoted Nan and a supportive and caring sister and friend. She was the leader of our pack and we will miss her dearly. The treatment and care Mum and her family received in her last few weeks from the District Nurses and the team at St Luke’s was truly amazing. Their support, compassion and hugs were greatly received at the most difficult time. Ann’s funeral will take place on Wednesday 18th December at Hutcliffe Wood Crematorium at 2pm, of course you are all welcome and we will be heading to the Rising Sun afterwards. Instead of flowers we would like to suggest a donation to St Luke’s Hospice to support them to provide other families with this same level of care received by our family. From all of our family we’d like to thank you for any donation you can offer. With love Anita, Joanne & Sally x x x

At Christmas time one of my fondest memories is of us all being together with my Aunty Ann being so strong through some really tough times. She was such an independent, kind and generous role model and she will be so missed by us all. Her legacy lives on through her 3 amazing daughters and grand children and I hope she is at peace now. Thank you to all the staff at St. Lukes for the help and support you gave her and all our family.

Nan was full of love, she showed us just how much everyday. Her love language was undoubtedly gift giving, and what a great gift giver she was. She made every Christmas magical. Her generosity was to be admired But that’s just the kind of person she was. She will be the centre of stories we all tell for a lifetime Love you nan x

Ann was just so incredibly proud of her family, she was hardworking, generous to a fault, and a tower of strength. She was so proud particularly of her Grandchildren, she will remain an inspiration for them all. Thank you to all at St Luke’s for caring for Ann, and also for looking after Anita, Jo and Sally during incredibly sad and difficult times.

Ann: Fiercely independent, immensely generous and incredibly loyal. If Calsberg did mothers in law... Her spirit and strength lives on in all her grandchildren. Thanks to St Luke's for their amazing work.

Such a kind and beautiful lady, inside and out. Loyal and trustworthy and fiercely protective of her family and friends. To bring up such a beautiful family is a tribute in itself. A brilliant sense of fun. What a legacy she has left. She will be missed greatly. ❤
