John Newton Wood was a devoted husband to Janette and father to Adrian and Gary. He was also a loving grandad to Zoe, Julia and Hannah.
He was a generous man, always putting others first right to the end. He had a fulfilling, long life and will be missed by many.
When his wife Janette passed away in 1998, she was given outstanding care by St Luke's Hospice so it only seemed appropriate that in lieu of flowers for John, donations were made for St Luke's so that they can continue their excellent work.

Saddened to hear of Mr Wood’s passing, but with many fond memories of Mr and Mrs Wood, Adrian and Gary, who made me an extension of their family as a young boy from down the street.
