This is a tribute page in the name of Professor Roy Bailey, a husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, friend, singer, academic and humanitarian, but it is also a Tribute page to St Luke's, to help raise funds for this incredible place and to say thank you for everything that they did for Roy and for us as a family and continue to do for the people of Sheffield. We are eternally grateful to all the staff at St Luke's Hospice on Little Common Lane for their incredible care and attention during Roy's final days. They allowed us to spend precious time with Roy in a safe and dignified environment, in a way which we would hope that everyone who finds themselves in such a circumstance would be able to do. If only our taxes could be used for places like this...we are incredibly lucky to have it. Roy's obituary appeared in many papers including The Guardian, The Times, The Daily Telegraph, The Yorkshire Post and many local papers. We hope to be able to publish links to one of them on here soon.
