This is a tribute for our mum, Jean Renshaw who passed away peacefully in March 2016 at St Lukes Hospice and we all miss her enormously. Jean was mother to Lynne and Deborah and grandmother to Edward, Joe, Nick, Hannah Becky and Charlotte. She was a fantastic mum and grandmother and we all miss her dearly, particularly her very positive attitude to life. The staff at St Lukes were amazing and not only did they look after mum in her last days, they also supported my sister and myself at a very sad time and have continued to do so afterwards. In her lifetime, mum supported St Lukes, so it is fitting for us to continue supporting them so that other people can benefit in the future.

Our Gran was a tenacious woman who lived a very interesting and full life. She loved her family very much and always impressed on us the value of sticking together. Whilst is was sad that Gran finally had to go to St Lukes, it was a huge comfort to know that she was looked after so well in such a positive environment; not just Gran but her daughters too, who were also in a tough place having provided 24 hour care at home to that point. Well done Deb with the walk, we are all proud of you and thank you St. Lukes for being there for us and many others.
