Loving Mum Nanny and Great Nanny Was 93 years of age .Left school at the age of 12 due to the war years. Married husband Joe in London at the age of 18 and then moved to Rotherham where she spent most of her life. Moved to Sheffield and spent the last years living in Newton Croft where she enjoyed bingo and other activities there.Got a reputation as a bit of a character mainly due to her outspokenness but was still liked and respected . Now reunited with husband Joe and son Raymond.

For a special Mum nanny and great nanny. A very big thank you to all the lovely caring staff involved in looking after mum (Betty)

    Thoughts

Betty was a great character who wasn't afraid to speak her mind but always enjoyed a good laugh. She was concerned about others and will be missed by her friends at Woodhouse Salvation Army.
